Ίρις, το πρώτο ιατρικό φακελάκι και η γέννηση του φωτός.
Από τη μια, τη λυπόντουσαν. Από την άλλη είχαν ξεκουφαθεί από τα ουρλιαχτά της. Έπρεπε να βρεθεί λύση. Έπρεπε να ειδοποιηθεί η επί των τοκετών επιτετραμμένη, η Ειλείθυια. Σε γεννητούρια δόθηκε.
Η αποστολή ήταν άκρως επικίνδυνη. Με τόσο χρυσαφικό πάνω της μπορεί να την μυριζόντουσαν τη δουλειά τίποτε ληστές. Από την άλλη, το χειρότερο, έτσι και την έπαιρνε χαμπάρι η Ήρα θα την ξεπουπούλιαζε. Παρ’ αυτά, η αποστολή εκτελέσθηκε επιτυχώς. Η Ειλείθυια φόρεσε το περιδέραιο και έτρεξε να εκτελέσει το καθήκον της και εγεννήθη ο χρυσός Απόλλων. Το φως! Με τη μεσολάβηση της Ίριδας, των χρωμάτων, που προϋπήρχαν (;).
Είχαμε αναφερθεί παλαιότερα για τη σχέση χρωμάτων και φωτός και τέθηκε το ερώτημα: «Τα χρώματα κάνουν το φως ή το φως τα χρώματα;»
