Η ελληνικ\u03ae γλ\u03ceσσα \u03adχει δ\u03ceσει τα ον\u03ccματα δυο θεαιν\u03ceν της μυθολογ\u03afας στα δυο απ\u03cc τα εμφαν\u03adστερα και βασικ\u03ccτερα στοιχε\u03afα του οπτικο\u03cd οργ\u03acνου, του οφθαλμο\u03cd. Η συγκεκριμ\u03adνη ονοματοθεσ\u03afα προσδιορ\u03afζει τις λειτουργ\u03afες των στοιχε\u03afων αυτ\u03ceν, οι οπο\u03afες παρομοι\u03acζουν με τις ιδι\u03ccτητες των δυο θεοτ\u03aeτων.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Πρ\u03ccκειται για την \u038aριδα (θε\u03ac των χρωμ\u03acτων και του Ουραν\u03afου τ\u03ccξου) και την Κ\u03ccρη (\u03ae \u03acλλως Περσεφ\u03ccνη, κ\u03ccρη της Δ\u03aeμητρας, σ\u03cdζυγο του Πλο\u03cdτωνα και βασ\u03afλισσα του Κ\u03acτω Κ\u03ccσμου, του \u0386δη).<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Για να εισχωρ\u03aeσουμε στο μ\u03acτι και κατανο\u03aeσουμε την λειτουργ\u03afα του, πρ\u03adπει πρωτ\u03afστως να συναντηθο\u03cdμε με τις δυο αυτ\u03adς θε\u03adς.<\/o:p><\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Για να αντιληφθο\u03cdμε το φως και τα χρ\u03ceματα απαρα\u03afτητος \u03ccρος ε\u03afναι η δι\u03acθεση του κατ\u03acλληλου αισθητηρ\u03afου οργ\u03acνου. Του οφθαλμο\u03cd!<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Τη λειτουργ\u03afα του, λ\u03afγο – πολ\u03cd, \u03ccλοι την ξ\u03adρουμε, αλλ\u03ac καλ\u03cc ε\u03afναι να την γνωρ\u03afσουμε κ\u03acπως καλ\u03cdτερα.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Ας σμικρυνθο\u03cdμε νοερ\u03ac σε πολ\u03cd μικρ\u03ac μεγ\u03adθη και ας προσεδαφιστο\u03cdμε π\u03acνω στο βολβ\u03cc του ματιο\u03cd. Στη μ\u03adση του ασπραδιο\u03cd του ματιο\u03cd υπ\u03acρχει \u03adνας κινο\u03cdμενος δ\u03afσκος. Σε κ\u03acποια μ\u03acτια ε\u03afναι κασταν\u03ccς, καλ\u03cdπτοντας \u03ccλους τους χρωματικο\u03cdς τ\u03ccνους αυτο\u03cd του χρ\u03ceματος, απ\u03cc το ανοιχτ\u03cc καστανοκ\u03afτρινο του μελιο\u03cd μ\u03adχρι το σκουρ\u03ccτερο καφετ\u03af, ποτ\u03ad \u03ccμως μα\u03cdρος, κι ας τραγουδ\u03acμε εμε\u03afς: «Δυο μα\u03cdρα μ\u03acτια μ’ ε\u03afχαν κοιτ\u03acξει \u03adνα δε\u03afλι…». Μα\u03cdρα μ\u03acτια δεν υπ\u03acρχουν.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Σε \u03acλλα μ\u03acτια ο δ\u03afσκος αυτ\u03ccς ε\u03afναι γαλ\u03acζιος, σε \u03acλλα γκρ\u03afζος και σε \u03acλλα πρασινωπ\u03ccς.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Αυτ\u03ccς ο δ\u03afσκος ε\u03afναι η \u03afρις του ματιο\u03cd και στη μ\u03adση ακριβ\u03ceς της \u03afριδας υπ\u03acρχει μια οπ\u03ae, μια κατ\u03acμαυρη τρ\u03cdπα (σε \u03ccλα ανεξαιρ\u03adτως τα μ\u03acτια), που σε οδηγε\u03af στα \u03adγκατα του ματιο\u03cd, η κ\u03ccρη!<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

\u038cπως η Κ\u03ccρη της μυθολογ\u03afας βασ\u03afλευε στον \u0386δη, στα \u03acγνωστα για τους θνητο\u03cdς \u03adγκατα της γης, απ’ \u03ccπου δεν επ\u03adτρεπε σε \u03ccποιον \u03adμπαινε να ξαναβγε\u03af, \u03adτσι και η κ\u03ccρη του ματιο\u03cd οδηγε\u03af το φως στα \u03adγκατα του οφθαλμο\u03cd, \u03ccπου \u03ccσες ακτ\u03afνες φωτ\u03ccς εγκλωβισθο\u03cdν εκε\u03af μ\u03adσα δεν ξαναβγα\u03afνουν. \u0388χετε δει ποτ\u03ad να βγα\u03afνει φως μ\u03adσα απ\u03cc την κ\u03ccρη κ\u03acποιου ματιο\u03cd;<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Η μα\u03cdρη κ\u03ccρη του ματιο\u03cd θυμ\u03afζει τις μα\u03cdρες τρ\u03cdπες του διαστ\u03aeματος, που \u03cc,τι μπει μ\u03adσα τους εξαφαν\u03afζεται.<\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Φυσικ\u03ac, \u03adχουμε ακ\u03ccμα πολλ\u03ac να πο\u03cdμε για τη λειτουργ\u03afα των δυο «επ\u03af του οφθαλμο\u03cd» θεαιν\u03ceν, οπ\u03ccτε, μελλοντικ\u03ac, \u03adπεται συν\u03adχεια!<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Greek language has given the names of two goddesses of mythology to two of the most prominent and essential elements of the optic organ, the eye. This naming determines the functions of these elements, which resemble the properties of the two deities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These are Iris (goddess of colors and rainbow) and Kore* (or else Persephone, daughter of Demeter, Pluto’s wife and Queen of the Underworld, Hades).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

*[Kore means ‘daughter’ and that is the Greek name for eye’s pupil]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In order to penetrate the eye and understand its function, we must first meet these two goddesses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In other eyes, this disc has a light blue color, in others gray and in others is greenish.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This disc is the iris of the eye, and in the middle of the iris there is a hole, a dark hole (in all the eyes without exception) that leads you to the depths of the eye, the Kore!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As Kore of mythology reigned in Hades, the unknown to the mortals bowels of earth, from where she did not allow anyone to come back again, so the Kore (pupil) of the eye leads the light into the innermost of the eye, where the many rays of light trapped there cannot get out again. The black pupil of the eye reminds of the black holes of space, where everything disappears in them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
