Ο Μ<\/span>\u03acρτης, ο πρ\u03ceτος μ\u03aeνας της \u0386νοιξης<\/span> και κ\u03acποτε πρ\u03ceτος μ\u03aeνας του χρ\u03ccνου, \u03aeταν αφιερωμ\u03adνος στο θε\u03cc του πολ\u03adμου τον \u0386<\/span>ρη, του οπο\u03afου φ\u03adρει το λατινικ\u03cc \u03ccνομ\u03ac του (Mars<\/span>) και αλχημικ\u03ac συνοδοιπορε\u03af με τον ομ\u03ceνυμο πλαν\u03aeτη, το κ<\/span>\u03ccκκι<\/span>νο<\/span> χρ\u03ceμα, το σ\u03afδηρο, το ρου<\/span>μπ\u03afνι και τα ζ\u03ceδια του Κριο\u03cd και του Σκορπιο\u03cd.<\/font><\/p>\n

Ο Μ\u03ac<\/span>ιος, αν και μ\u03aeνας του Ε<\/span>ρμ\u03ae, δεν φ\u03adρει το \u03ccνομ\u03ac του, αλλ\u03ac το \u03ccνομα της μητ\u03adρας του, της Μα\u03afας, της ωραι\u03ccτερης των Πλει\u03acδων.<\/font><\/p>\n

March, the first month of Spring, and once the first month of the year, was dedicated to god of war Ares, known also with his Latin name Mars, and his name was given as well to the 4th<\/sup> planet which alchemically accompanies the red color, iron, ruby and the signs of Aries and Scorpio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

March<\/span> is followed by April, which, without bearing her name, was the month of Aphrodite (Venus), and is followed by the third spring month (and the third month of the year, once) dedicated to another divine lover of the great goddess, Hermes (Mercury).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

May, though Mercury’s month, does not bear his name, but the name of his mother, Maia, the most beautiful of the Pleiades.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lot of things<\/span> could be said for the three spring months, the gods to whom they were dedicated, and the numbers that characterized them as the first, second and third months of the year (now, they are just the months of Spring), but we will move away from our basic theme. Do you see how far colors can lead us?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
